Never cutting a tree down for my work, instead always looking for trees that have fallen during storms. Imperfections are welcome not avoided. RECYCLING BEAUTY!
Susan-I never stop learning, though I've been painting since I was very young. I start each piece with the excitement of a new idea. Learning doesn't end or begin in art school. Like everything else in life exploration and discovery is an integral part of every piece.

Thanks for your comment on my blog! It's always fun to find someone new and check their stuff out. The woodturning is beautiful and your paintings are really wonderful...I've gone back and looked at several. I got a kick out of the shark teeth collecting because many, many years ago I lived in Venice, FL for a short time and my sisters and I used to pick up shark teeth on the beach. I still have a little can full of them. I'm partial to dogs too, so love the pic of your pet!
